Non-FERC Vista Users of eLibrary – Issues and Solutions, updated as of 11/5/2008
NetVue Viewer.
- Alternate eLibrary Site and Highlighting from a Full Text Search. For both issues, If you still have a problem, contact FERC Online Support.
- Printing
- Users are not able to print the entire document from NetVue at this time. To print the entire document, open the native file (from Search Results or File List, etc.), and print from there.
- From the NetVue viewer, you may use the icons to ‘print this page’ or to ‘print selected’. After printing, you should minimize the blank screen that appears. Your document is still available in the NetVue viewer.
- TIF (Image), WordPerfect, TAB, TA1, TA2, and TA3 files. If you have problems accessing these files, here are two options.
Option 1: Users may manually make file associations, so their system automatically opens these files using another software product (word processing software or other program you choose) that is capable of viewing the particular file type.

Option 2: The public may also use the following workaround. Please note that you must use the regular eLibrary site for this workaround; do not use the eLibrary Alternate Site. From the Search Results for Advanced, General, Docket, and Daily Searches, click on ‘File’ to go to the File List.
For TIF images, from the File List, check:
- The ‘Range’ box and enter the page nos. wanted in the ‘from’ and ‘to’ boxes or
- The ‘All’ box to the right of the ‘Range’ section, if you want to view the entire document [Do not click the ‘All’ box to the left of the word ‘Image’.] or
- The boxes in front of the individual page numbers wanted.
Then click ‘View’ at the bottom. It will launch the NetVue viewer and will display the requested pages.
For WordPerfect documents, from the File List, check the box to the left of the WordPerfect file name. Then click ‘View’ at the bottom. It will launch the NetVue viewer and will display the file.
