Baker River Interagency Hotshot Crew

[Image]: Baker River Hotshot logo The Baker River Interagency Hotshot Crew (IHC) is a Type I, 20 person wildland fire suppression crew. Since its inception in 1976, the Baker River Hotshot Crew has provided a highly trained, professional, and diverse work force for wildland and prescribed fire assignments. The crew has responded to fires throughout the entire western U.S., as well as fires or natural disasters in Alaska, North Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Ontario, Canada.

MBS Initial Attack Crew

Mt. Baker - Snoqualmie Initial Attack Crew (MBS-IA) is a forest firefighting crew comprised of 20 dedicated and hardworking individuals who spend the summer months battling forest fires throughout the country.

North Zone Engines

The North Zone of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is home to two of the four wildland fire engines on the forest. Engine-101 and Engine-201 are used primarily for initial attack response to reported forest fires in the Zone.
