Chief Scientific and Technical Advisors (CSTA) Program
The FAA is proud to employ the expertise of Chief Scientific and Technical Advisors (CSTA) and Senior Technical Specialists (STS) in the Aviation Safety Organization.
The CSTA and STS are leaders in their technical disciplines. They possess the skills and abilities required to deal with the rapidly advancing aerospace technology and internationalization of the industry that is already upon us. They are active members of technical societies, write technical papers, and lecture at universities, and at industry and government forums.
