After graduating from college, Vince Flynn worked as an account and sales marketing specialist for Kraft General Foods. But during his search for a challenge and a two-year struggle to join the U.S. Marine Corps, he discovered his true passion for writing. He grew up dyslexic but overcame his problem through a daily writing and reading regimen with a special love for reading about espionage. He is the author of seven New York Times best-sellers, including the latest in his Mitch Rapp series, Consent to Kill (Simon & Schuster, paperback, 2006). He also serves as story consultant for FOX-TV’s hit series “24.” He lives in Minnesota.
