Fishing — Small Streams

Small StreamYou are never far from a quiet, shady stream with trout hiding under logsBesides our major rivers, the Huron-Manistee National Forests are interlaced with many small streams that provide excellent trout fishing opportunities.  Trout fishing is a delicate pursuit.  Trout are wary and require a lot of patience and skill, whether using bait, spinners, or fly-fishing.  It is a graceful, challenging and rewarding sport.  And probably one of  the greatest rewards of trout fishing is enjoying the environment where trout are pursued, especially if it’s a small, forested stream.
