Technical Leadership: OverviewEvery year, EES researchers conduct dozens of experiments that involve thousands of pieces of data. How does EES set its course in such a sea of data? Los Alamos researchers within EES provide the technical leadership and management to manage data and many other aspects of EES experimental work. FocusOur staff provides technical leadership and management for a number of large, complex projects. We provide expert planning, scheduling, performance tracking, quality assurance, decision subport, systems operations, fieldwork, experimentation, and analysis, as well as coordination with other organizations. Our work finds major applications in our Technical Coordination Office for the Yucca Mountain Program, our Carlsbad Operations Office subporting the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant, and parts of the Environmental Restoration Program at Los Alamos.
