Professional Societies

National Center staff are active in leadership positions in many prestigious professional societies and organizations.

Center staff members serve on committees and hold offices for the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS); the American Psychiatric Association (APA), including on the task force for the development of DSM-V; the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT); the Anxiety Disorders Association of America (ADAA); and the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP), as well as many others.
