The toolkits in this section are designed specifically for work sites to encourage preventive health screenings and may contain checklists, step-by-step guides, budgets, and other tools that aid in program planning, design, and management. Before implementing any of these interventions, the toolkits should be selected and evaluated based on the identified needs of your employee population. Federal Resources
Diabetes at Work Resource Kit*
This resource kit was developed by the National Diabetes Education Program,
a joint initiative of the CDC and the National Institutes of Health. It is
designed to help businesses and managed care companies assess the impact of
diabetes in the workplace and help employees manage their diabetes.
State Resources
Worksite Resource Kit*
(PDF-565k)
This Worksite Resource Kit was designed by the Colorado Physical Activity
and Nutrition Program for all work sites to gain resources and program ideas
to start or further work site wellness initiatives. This kit primarily
focuses on improving physical activity and nutrition, but also includes an
array of strategies and action steps for conducting health fairs and
preventive health screenings.
