Forest Plan Revision

As of April 2008

The U.S. Forest Service signed the 2008 Planning Rule on April 9, 2008.   This rule expands collaboration by requiring early and frequent public dialogues throughout the development, implementation, and monitoring of its land and resource management plans.  In light of this announcement, the Forest is re-evaluating its approaches to developing its plan revision.  Learn more about the 2008 Planning Rule by visiting our national website at http://www.fs.fed.us.
