Meetings Coordinated by CIDER

The HSRD National Meeting is held annually and gives HSR&D researchers from many disciplines the opportunity to come together with clinicians and policy makers to explore new ways to improve health care.

The QUERI (Quality Enhancement Research Initiative) National Meeting brings together stakeholders in facilitating the implementation of research findings into routine clinical practice. This year’s meeting will focus on the vital connection between VA research and operations in facilitating the implementation of interventions that improve the quality of veterans’ healthcare.

The State of the Art Conferences (SOTA) aim to synthesize and disseminate knowledge to VA investigators, managers and clinicians. These conferences promote implementation of findings and strengthens dialogue among investigators, clinicians, managers, and policymakers resulting in effective management and informed policy decisions.

VA R&D Women's Health: The expansion of women in the military is reshaping the veteran population. In recognition of this changing demographic in the veteran population and the special health care needs of women, the VA established women's health as a research priority to develop new knowledge about how to best provide for the health and care of women veterans.
