Ways We've Helped Others

...and could help you!

We have performed many technical assistance projects for Federal agencies, both large and small, in recent years. Some have been accomplished as partnerships under the Targeted Assistance initiative. Others were done without a formal Memorandum of Understanding.

Some of our past and current projects include:

  • Assisting the Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) in scheduling the disposition of temporary and permanent records belonging to that agency's Office of General Counsel.

  • Providing tailored files maintenance and improvement instructional materials to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 5's Water Division and presenting related workshops to agency staff.

  • Advising the Social Security Administration's Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA) on improving the management of information and records within OHA-Chicago, including identifying and disposing of unneeded records and helping the office comply with applicable agency record keeping guidance.

  • Performing a records management survey for the Department of Energy's New Brunswick Laboratory and submitting a subsequent written report of findings.

  • Appraising records belonging to the RRB's Railroad Retirement Act Imaging System and (related) Claim Folders.

  • Presenting briefings on a variety of records management subjects to staff from agencies such as the Departments of Education, Labor, and Veterans Affairs and the EPA.
