Patient Satisfaction

VA prosthetics has a primary goal and charter to care for the veterans that require our specialized service. This brings to focus the fact that the prosthetics patient is our number one customer. In most cases this is a life-long relationship with each individual to see that his or her needs are met.

According to a recent Gallup Amputee Survey conducted November 2006 to March 2007, the Gallup Organization found that VA prosthetics was providing satisfactory or above service to the vast majority of veterans. Most of the veterans surveyed came into the program with low expectation but raised this opinion once they were active in the program.

Our goal is to reach those that have been dissatisfied with our service in the past and seek ways to improve this service.

VA prosthetics continuously seeks ways to improve both our care and our processes. This includes finding solutions to the recommendations mentioned in the survey, and to raise the results shown to an even higher level.
