The Russian steamer
Politkofsky had witnessed Alaska's historic changes including the
transfer to the United States, early fur trading, and the Klondike Gold
Rush. Use the Teacher's Resource Manual as
a basis for lessons on Alaska history and allow students to travel back
to the time of early peoples and pioneers of Alaska on a journey to the
1700's.
