To take full advantage of the future enhancements of My HealtheVet (MHV) requires In-Person Authentication (IPA) at your local VA medical facility. Upon completing the IPA process you will be able to see your appointments using the My HealtheVet portal and other personalized information. Contact your facility’s Release of Information Section for more information and how to sign up to be authenticated. Prior to completing the IPA process you will need to view the My HealtheVet Orientation Video online, read the MHV Orientation Video Transcript, or you can view the video at the facility. Please take the signed VA Form 10-5345a-MHV, along with a valid government issued photo identification card, to a VA staff member assigned to handle authentication. The facility will verify your name, social security number and date of birth.
