Petition for Exemption or Rulemaking

If you are affected by a regulation in Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR), then you may petition for an exemption from any rule issued by FAA under its statutory authority. You may also petition the Administrator to issue, amend, or repeal a rule. You can find the regulations governing the rulemaking process in Part 11 of Title 14 CFR.
