Welcome to the Health IT Adoption Toolbox, developed by the Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA's) Office of Health Information Technology (OHIT). This resource is meant to serve health centers as well as other safety net and ambulatory care providers seeking to implement health IT to improve the overall effectiveness of their institutions. We have organized this resource in a question-and-answer format and have attempted to compile a range of resources relevant to all stages of considering, planning, executing, and evaluating the implementation of health IT. In addition, we have included publicly available resources as well as resources developed by HRSA explicitly for this Toolbox.
This module addresses goals and objectives for health IT adoption and other startup concerns, such as quality improvement, readiness assessment, staffing, feasibility analysis, and strategies for financing health IT.
