The HCC Quicknotes constitute an abbreviated version of the soon-to-be-published document on Management of Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) that is being developed by the Department of Veterans Affairs Hepatitis C Resource Center Program and the National Hepatitis C Program Office.

The HCC Quicknotes provide bottom-line current recommendations regarding the workup of liver masses uncovered during screening as well as guidelines regarding the diagnosis and management of HCC, including guidance regarding referral for liver transplantation.

The HCC Quicknotes will soon be available in the form of an algorithm and will be downloadable to a PDA as part of the Cirrhosis Quicknotes.
