摘要

自慢性病取代傳染病成爲主要致死原因的幾十年來,公共衛生研究人員,尤其是健康推廣和慢性病預防領域的人員,由於意識到社區層級的變化將促進和維持個人的行爲變化,已經將其重點從個人轉到社區。之前對個人生活方式變化的重視已經在通常不需要增加資源的情況下,拓展爲涵蓋社會和環境因素。爲了找到在全國層級支援社區健康推廣的新方式,全國慢性病預防和健康推廣中心(National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion)以及成年人和社區健康分部(Division of Adult and Community Health)邀請了一個外部專家小組參加“社區健康推廣全國專家小組”(National Expert Panel on Community Health Promotion)。本文重點介紹了專家小組形成八項建議的過程。這些建議包括與基於社區的參與性研究和監測相關事宜、培訓和能力建設、健康和福祉的新方法以及聯邦投資的變化。這些建議說明了擴展公共衛生傳統領域並推進改善社區健康和福祉新願景的必須步驟。
