The VA National Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (NCP) is a field-based program office of the VHA Office of Patient Care Services.
Through programs like MOVE!, a comprehensive, evidence-based weight management plan for veterans enrolled in the VA healthcare system, and through collaborative initiatives such as HealthierUS Veterans with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), VA NCP is a resource to a broad range of customers from healthcare policy makers to front-line providers of services to veterans.
