Time to Regulate Weapons Manufacture

A huge percent of the weapons manufactured in the world come from US companies. These companies are making the world more volitile and making things more difficult for our military. Many of the weapons used by Iraqi and Afghani insurgents were made by US-based companies and sold before there was an active conflict. By not producing more weapons, there will be fewer in the world.

Good God, you are stupid.  People will get weapons NO MATTER WHAT. You CAN'T stop it. They will use rocks and sticks if that is all they can get.

Ever heard of something called "market forces" ?  A producer will emerge to fill a market void, no matter what. Aside from this is the fact that the USA is NOT a leading producer of rifles for the world. The costs of production are too high here to allow that.

That is a dumb idea. So if we had eliminated American gun manufachuring all Americans that whant to exercise there right to bare armes would have to purchase imported products. How does that help anyone?
