By Air
To get to Ann Arbor, you will fly into Detroit Metropolitan Airport, just 27 miles from GLERL via I-94 and U.S. 23. From Metropolitan Airport, you have the following options:

By Auto

From DETROIT, MICHIGAN (about 45 miles), or Detroit Metropolitan Airport* (about 27 miles): Take I-94 West about 25 miles. Take Exit 177, State Street Road. Take a left off the Exit and travel south 1.5 miles to 4840 S. State Rd, which is on the right-hand side.
From LANSING, MICHIGAN (about 70 miles): take I-96 East to US 23 South at Brighton. Take exit 148A to merge onto US-23 S toward Ann Arbor. Take Exit 41, Plymouth Road. Take exit 35 to merge onto I-94 W toward Chicago. Take Exit 177, State Street Road. Take a left off the exit and travel south 1.5 miles to 4840 S. State Rd, which is on the right-hand side.
From TOLEDO, OHIO (about 50 miles): take I75 N towards Detroit. Slight left at I-475 W (signs for US-23/Sylvania/I-475 W/Ann Arbor). Take exit 14 to merge onto US-23 N toward Sylvania/Ann Arbor. Take exit 34 for US-12 toward Saline/Ypsilanti. Turn left at W Michigan Ave/US-12 (signs for Saline). Turn right on State Rd., 4840 will be on the left.
By Train
See the Amtrak Midwest destinations page* for regional train routes, schedules and information. To reach GLERL from the Ann Arbor Amtrak station at 325 Depot St:
- Make a left from Depot St. to N 4th Ave. until you reach State Street.
- Turn right and travel South until you reach B, 4840 State Rd.
- GLERL will be on your right.
