2006 IHS Annual Meeting of the National Combined Councils

Deputy Surgeon General RADM Kenneth Moritsugu at the IHS National Combined Councils Meeting
February 9, 2006- Over 400 conference attendees convened in Phoenix, Arizona, for the annual meeting of the IHS National Combined Councils (NCC) on January 29 - February 3, 2006. The National Councils (Clinical Directors, Chief Executive Officers, Chief Medical Officers, Oral Health, and Nurse Consultants) for Indian health host this annual meeting. This year's exciting and informative program addressed Indian Health Service/tribal/urban program issues and offered solutions to common concerns throughout Indian country by focusing on the theme of "Indian Health in Transition: Initiating and Implementing Change." Conference planning and support were provided by the IHS Clinical Support Center
