Jamie L. Simler, Deputy Director
Jamie L. Simler has been the Deputy Director of the Office of Energy Market Regulation since July 2005.
Prior to this, she held several positions at the Commission, including Director of the Western Division of the Office of Markets, Tariffs and Rates and Advisor to Commissioner Nora Mead Brownell. Before joining the agency in 1997, Ms. Simler was employed in private industry for the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America, Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Corporation, and the Potomac Electric Power Company.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and a Masters in Business Administration from the George Washington University.
