If I am selected for Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program funding will I be paid for my work in addition to the loan repayment?

Yes.   The Contract for loan repayment is between the applicant and the NELRP.  An employer may know that the nurse is participating in the NELRP, however, the employer will not be informed of the specific payments the NELRP is making to the participant.  Therefore, when compensation packages are negotiated between the nurse and the facility, loan repayments should not be part of the salary negotiations.
