2002 National Blueprint for Runway Safety

The first edition of the Runway Safety Blueprint, published in 2000, presented FAA's corporate approach to reducing runway incursions. This second edition, Runway Safety Blueprint 2002-2004, updates the earlier document based on the results of data collection and analyses carried out during the past year. It also defines the objectives to be achieved in 2002-2004 that are aimed at reducing risk and improving safety at the nation's towered airports.
