Our college offers degree programs and course offerings that provide students with an understanding of the biological, environmental, social and cultural forces which shape our world. Collaborative learning, laboratory experiences and a strong emphasis on civic engagement build a foundation for the natural and social sciences. Excellent internship and practicum opportunities exist for students in several of our degree programs. Faculty and the staff of the college are always available to help students learn in a cordial, responsive university environment. In addition to their teaching responsibilities, faculty also serve as academic advisors to their assigned students.

Our degree programs are devoted primarily to educating students for a variety of professions, while also focusing on a strong core of liberal arts courses. Students often comment about the usefulness and appealing nature of their course work. Students are given numerous opportunities for exploration of ideas and the discovery of new ventures as they study within and outside of the classroom. Natural and Social Science courses are presented in a variety of formats including on-line instruction, interactive television and independent study to fit the needs and interests of our diverse student population.
