AWIG Mission Statement:
To serve as a dynamic resource for the collection and dissemination of information within the NIH Intramural Research Program regarding animal welfare, environmental enrichment, and the behavioral management of laboratory animals.
To serve as a catalyst for initiatives designed to ensure and/or document the well-being of laboratory animals and facilitate harmonization within the NIH Intramural Research Program.
