The National Eye Institute's traveling exhibit may soon come to a mall near you. THE EYE SITE provides information on low vision in both English and Spanish and features five kiosks with an interactive, multimedia touch-screen program and a display of assistive devices and local resources. This summer and fall, the tour will visit malls in Indiana, Mississippi, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut. For more information, visit http://www.nei.nih.gov/nehep/eyesite. NIH Shares Health Information with Its Neighbors

Mark your calendars now for the fourth annual Share the Health: An Exposition of Health Resources from NIH to Its Neighbors. On October 26, this free health forum, sponsored by the NIH Office of Community Liaison, will showcase what NIH has to offer. Bring the entire family for free health information, refreshments, and activities. The forum features:

  • Exhibits by NIH institutes;
  • Lectures and discussions on key health issues;
  • Stroke and blood pressure screenings;
  • Wellness workshops on safety and relaxation;
  • Tours;
  • Volunteer opportunities; and
  • Computer demonstrations on how to access health information on the Web.
