Drawings of Landscape and Architecture from the Armand Hammer Collection

May 15-November 6, 1994

Overview: A selection of 13 landscape and architectural drawings, from Albrecht Dürer to Andrew Wyeth, was shown as part of a continuous series of changing exhibitions to highlight drawings from the Armand Hammer collection. The display emphasized 19th-century artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Camille Pissarro, and Paul Cézanne. Margaret Morgan Grasselli, curator of old master drawings at the National Gallery, coordinated the exhibition.
