• Notice of states' decisions to participate in accounting and auditing relief for Federal oil and gas marginal properties located in their state for calendar year 2006
  The rule requires MMS to publish in the Federal Register the decisions of the states concerned to allow or not to allow one or both forms of relief in their state.  As required in the rule, MMS provided each state receiving a portion of the Federal royalties with a list of qualifying marginal Federal oil and gas properties located in the state so that each affected state could decide whether to participate in one or both relief options.  This notice provides the decisions by the respective states concerned to allow one or both types of relief.  (70 FR 72381 -- December 5, 2005)

  Notice provides the semiannual agenda of rules scheduled for review or development between fall 2005 and spring 2006. (70 FR 64774 -- October 31, 2005)

• Notice and Agenda for Meeting of the Royalty Policy Committee
  The RPC meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., MT. The agenda items for the third meeting of the newly chartered Royalty Policy Committee (RPC)  will include remarks from the Deputy Director, MMS, and the Associate Director, Minerals Revenue Management (MRM), as well as updates from the following subcommittees: Coal, Federal Oil and Gas Valuation, Oil and Gas Royalty Reporting, and Indian Oil Valuation. The RPC will also hear special reports on the Energy Policy Act of 2005, the Royalty in Kind Program, and the MRM Strategic Business Planning Initiative.

  This notice announces a panel discussion regarding Published Natural Gas Index Pricing--A Panel will be held on April 26, 2005, in Houston, Texas.  The intent of the panel discussion is to be bring together some of the leading experts in gas marketing to provide information that will be helpful in answering the following question:
