Office of Public Health and Environmental Hazards logo Welcome!  The Office of Public Health and Environmental Hazards focuses on improving the health of veterans through professionally developed policies relating to surveillance, prevention and treatment, energetic outreach, and special attention to unique healthcare needs of special populations, including women veterans, veterans with AIDS, Hepatitis C, and veterans exposed to environmental hazards.  Our missions and products are carried out from three Strategic Health Care Groups (SHGs) and two programs, under the leadership of Lawrence R. Deyton, MSPH, MD, Chief Officer.
