  • December 04, 2008 - U.S. Marshals Mid-South Fugitive Task Force (MSFTF) capture violent fugitive Eric Littlejohn also known as “Dutch,” while trying to evade officers in West Memphis, Arkansas. Eric Littlejohn was wanted by the Memphis Police Department for Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Robbery and Evading Arrest. Littlejohn was also wanted by the Pontotoc Mississippi Sheriff Office for Fraud.
  • November 06, 2008 - U.S. Marshals Mid South Fugitive Task Force (MSFTF) arrested Darrin Pearson in Memphis, TN. Pearson, who has been know to resist arrest in the past, attempted to deny his identity, even after his associates called him “Darrin” but his numerous tattoos made a positive identification easy.  Pearson allegedly shot a man, he did not know, 8 times with a sawed-off rifle on Christmas Eve 2007.
  • October 29, 2008 - A fifteen month run from the law ended last night in Memphis for a Baton Rouge murder suspect. Donovan “Dino” Springer has been wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department since a July 28, 2007 incident that left one victim dead and another wounded. The Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force (MLFTF) had been actively searching for Springer, even placing his profile on the U.S. Marshals, America’s Most Wanted, and Crime Stoppers websites.
  • July 15, 2008 - U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Task Force (RFTF) members arrested Jose Ramirez in Hollywood, Florida. On March 4, 2004, a warrant was issued for Jose Luis Ramirez by Shelby County after Ramirez was charged with First Degree Murder in the shooting death of Hector Leon. The Mid-South Fugitive Task Force (MSFTF) began in August 2005 and adopted this case shortly thereafter.
  • April 16, 2008 - U.S. Marshals Los Angeles Regional Fugitive Task Force (LARFTF) arrested Tennessee Bureau of Investigations’ Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive Akeem Scott in Anaheim, California two weeks to the day that his fugitive father Winfred Scott was arrested in Kansas City, MO. On December 15, 2005 the State of Tennessee issued a warrant for Winfred Scott and his son Akeem Scott after both were indicted for Rape of a Child.
  • April 03, 2008 - U.S. Marshals and other members of the Kansas City Career Criminal Task Force (KCCCTF) arrested Tennessee Bureau of Investigations’ Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive Winfred Scott in Kansas City, Missouri. On December 15, 2005 the State of Tennessee issued a warrant for Winfred Scott and his son Akeem Scott after both were indicted for Rape of a Child. Earlier in 2005, Winfred Scott had arranged a meeting with investigators, never showed, and promptly fled Memphis, TN with his adult son, Akeem Scott.
  • March 03, 2008 - The United States Marshals Service Mid-South Fugitive Task Force (MSFTF) wants to send a message to predatory fugitives – your predatory days are numbered because the MSFTF is looking for you! 
  • March 03, 2008 - The Mid-South Fugitive Task Force and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation requests the public’s help in locating father and son fugitives, Winfred and Akeem-Abou Scott. They are charged in Memphis with Rape of a Child and have been wanted since July 14, 2004 after they fled Memphis during the investigation.
  • February 28, 2008 - U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (GLRFTF) and Indianapolis Metro Police (IMPD) arrested Memphis murder suspect Gary “Little Bud”  Bohanon, 20, who was wanted for the October 17, 2007 first degree murder of Ronald Moore in Memphis Tennessee.
  • January 15, 2008 - 15 Most Wanted Arrest - Touted as one of the best places to do business in Central America, Queretaro, Mexico, proved to be just the opposite for longtime drug kingpin Craig “Little Dude” Petties. Petties’ “business” in the international drug trade ended there with his arrest by Mexican authorities this past weekend. The arrest was announced today by David Kustoff, United States Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee, Andrew Dimond, Resident Agent in Charge of the DEA’s Memphis Resident Office, and David G. Jolley, United States Marshal for the Western District of Tennessee.
  • November 08, 2007 - Child pornographer Steven Yurick was arrested by the United States Marshals Mid South Fugitive Task Force today after a brief standoff. When U.S. Marshals Mid South Fugitive Task Force officers, Tennessee Highway Patrol Officers, and Chester County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at Yurick mother’s house on Main Street in Bethel Springs, TN they found Yurick hiding in an attic with a knife.
  • August 03, 2007 - On the evening of Thursday August 2, 2007 members of the United States Marshals Service Mid South Fugitive Task Force (MSFTF), arrested Alfred Gasden in Memphis, TN. Gasden is wanted by the Jefferson County Parish Sheriff’s Office on a warrant dated 3/15/1993 for Attempted Homicide, Aggravated Rape, and False Imprisonment.
  • May 07, 2007 - On June 6, 2006, a federal warrant was issued for Rickey Evans charging him with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance. On June 17, 2006, Evans picked up his daughter, Rickel Fitch, for a three week custodial visit. Evans never returned Rickel Fitch to her mother, Erika Fitch.
  • April 30, 2007 - Members of the U.S. Marshals Service Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team (DFAT) arrested Lonzo Lenear after receiving a lead from the U.S. Marshals Service Mid South Fugitive Task Force (MSFTF). Lenear had been living in the Detroit, MI area for over five years and was arrested at a Harbor Woods, MI Nursing Home where Lenear was employed as a Dietician.
  • February 28, 2007 - Last night, February 27, 2007, United States Marshals and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office found a nine-year-old child who went missing in Burlington, Iowa in November 2005. The child, Trashanda Sharday Waytes, was found by authorities at a house near Byhalia, Mississippi.
  • January 18, 2007 - On Wednesday, January 17, 2007, the West Tennessee United States Marshals Service Mid-South Fugitive Task Force and the Middle North Carolina Fugitive Task Force captured fugitive Corey Scott in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Scott was charged in Shelby County Criminal Court on February 24, 2006 with Rape of a Child.
