Measurement in Practice

Please note that this section is an archive and is no longer being updated.

Accomplished researchers applying measurement in their work bring up as many questions as novices intending to learn the fundamentals of this science. These questions are specific in nature to methods and to subject matter. As a result, METRIC created a resource for scientists facing measurement quagmires and stumbling blocks for which an answer lies not in a reference text, but rather in the peer-reviewed literature and even within other disciplines, which may lend a new perspective to the problem. METRIC prepared and presented guides and reviews on a variety of subject matter that incorporate measurement, such as reviews of literature, hints to apply techniques in measurement, and other original content that was largely based on the input received from colleagues and customers.
