Acceptance Criteria

Who Should Attend?

The MIPH Course is intended for public health professionals from developing countries who are able to conduct management training in their own countries following the course. Public health professionals may come from non-governmental organizations (NGOs), academic institutions and ministries of health. Applications to the course are accepted on a competitive basis. SMDP admits participants to the course based on:

Training experience

Mandate to conduct training

English language capability

Funding to support follow-on in-country training and for SMDP technical assistance

Applicants should have funding commitments from a sponsor/donor for conducting in-country management training workshops. This funding also enables SMDP staff to provide assistance in developing the workshops and in supervising applied learning projects.
