ASCADS

Automated Sorting, Conversion and Distribution System
PLEASE NOTE: ASCADS is no longer the place to document weather station maintenance. That is now done in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You can still access ASCADS to view raw data, or you can view the data at other 'downstream' data display systems, such as WIMS or ROMAN.

STEP 1:

In order to access ASCADS, you must first obtain a logon ID and password.

Fax the request to the fax number shown on the form. Please note that this form can also be used to request access to CMMS. You must circle the system you wish to access.

  • Users must also read and understand these access guidelines.
      • PLEASE NOTE: You will be contacted via e-mail upon approval of your ASCADS profile request.

    STEP 2:

    USFS and State/County/Local government agencies need to contact Linnea Keating lkeating@fs.fed.us to obtain the instructions on setting up your computer to access ASCADS.

        Please include the following information in your request:

            Name
            Email Address
            Telephone Number
            Reason for Requesting ASCADS Access

      Incomplete requests will not be honored.
    Other Federal agencies need to contact their Regional RAWS coordinators.

    STEP 3:

    Upon completion of steps 1 and 2, connect to ASCADS to verify sucessful completion of steps 1 and 2. If you have problems connecting, contact the BLM's RSFWSU helpdesk at 208-387-5475.
