  • November 08, 2008 - Brandy Lynn Baggett, a 20 year old white female, was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force (OFTF).  The OFTF members were advised that Baggett had taken her daughter from the Florida Department of Children and Families Custody Center (FDCFC) on October 29th, 2008 against a court order issued by a local judge. The abduction of the baby was posted on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) website.
  • September 27, 2008 - James Joseph Bennett, a 50 year old white male, was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force (OFTF). When officers went to arrest Bennett, he was tased while attacking U.S. Marshals and Task Force Officers in his attempts to escape capture. Bennett was a fugitive out of Alaska wanted for Federal Probation Violation. His original charge was cocaine sales.
  • September 20, 2008 - Larry Rich, a federal fugitive, was arrested in Seattle, WA by the Seattle Police Department.  On September 19th, the night before Rich’s arrest, Eugene Police SWAT and the FBI office responded to an apartment in Eugene, Oregon. After a two and half hour stand-off an empty apartment was searched and Larry Rich was no where to be found. Rich is a convicted bank robber and was considered armed and dangerous.
  • August 20, 2008 - Shawn Scott Lockamy, a 25 year old white male, was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force (OFTF).  A Clackamas County warrant was issued for Lockamy on July 3, 2008, for a parole violation. Lockamy was originally convicted on March 1, 2001 for Sex Abuse II. In 2006, Lockamy was designated as a “Predatory Sex Offender” by Clackamas County Community Corrections.
  • June 30, 2008 - The U.S. Marshals Service Oregon Fugitive Task Force (OFTF) coordinated the efforts of local, state and federal law enforcement for a four-day fugitive apprehension effort last week, June 24 – 27. FALCON, the acronym for Federal And Local Cops Organized Nationally, soared into the Tri County Metro area and reached all the way to Umatilla County. FALCON 2008 was the shortest week as compared to previous FALCON missions but it packed a punch with 93 total arrests and 122 warrants cleared (some offenders had multiple warrants). Also seized, incident to arrest, were seven firearms (3 rifles & 4 handguns), a 48 Marijuana plant grow, one pound of dried marijuana, four ounces of methamphetamine and two vehicles.
  • April 02, 2008 - The United States Marshals Service (USMS), Oregon Fugitive Task Force, arrested Ronald Green, a white male, 45 years of age and former Veneta, OR resident, for Escape From Federal Custody. Green was arrested today in Florence, Oregon at a private residence on Skunkhollow Rd. At the time of his escape, Green was in the custody of the United States Bureau of Prisons and was serving out a sentence for a 2002 federal bank robbery conviction in Portland, OR.

  • February 25, 2008 - Harvest, AL- United States Marshals Service (USMS), Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (RFTF), arrested David McFarland, a white male, 29 years of age, for a violation of supervised release.  McFarland was under federal supervision out of Medford, Oregon for a felony conviction on a weapons offense. 

  • February 25, 2008 - Portland, OR- Yesterday afternoon at 4:30 PM, Sean Ivan Detrick, a 37 year-old white maile, was arrested in Sellwood Park by members of the U.S. Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force.  At the time of the arrest, Detrick was sitting in a parked Chrysler Sebring along with Lisa Ann Myers.  Sellwood Park is located a few blocks away from Myers residence.  Detrick was arrested on a warrant for Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle (UUMV) and was also charged with Robbery I, and Kidnapping stemming from an earlier incident involving an alleged robbery at knifepoint.  Meyers was arrested on a state Probation Violation.

  • February 13, 2008 - Portland, OR - Leroy Steven Frady, a 65 year-old, white male, described as a convicted murderer, high risk sex offender, bank robber, and a career criminal, was finally arrested today at 5:00 PM.  U.S. Marshals arrested Frady as he was leaving the Swan Mart store located near Barbur Blvd. and Hamilton St.  Leroy Frady had been wanted on state parole warrant since April 17, 2007, and was considered an extreme danger to the community by the Marion County Sheriffs Office.

  • February 7, 2008 - Beaverton, OR- Last night at 6:20 PM, Wilfredo DeJesus Santos, a 36 year-old white male, was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force.  The Marshals found Santos hiding undera  pile of clothes in a bedroom closet at a family member's townhouse, located at SW Stepping Stone Drive and Baseline.

  • January 30, 2008 - James Nelson Petty II, a 33 year-old white male, was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force, at the Silver Spur RV Park located in Silverton, Oregon. Incident to arrest, two minor children who had been listed as “Endangered Missing” on the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) website, were taken safely into protective custody.
  • November 17, 2007 - On November 16th, Adam Farouk Mikhail, 24 year-old-white male, was arrested for the charge of murder by members of the U.S. Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force.  Mikhail was arrested without incident as he left his residence in Portland, Oregon.
  • October 20, 2007 - Tustin, CA - On October 19th, members of the U.S. Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force assisted Tustin Police department in locating Noe Garcia-Moncada.  Moncada was arrested on two counts of Felony Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver involved in an Accident. 
  • September 18, 2007 - On September 17th, the U.S. Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force located Evana Taylor, DOB: 04/17/1999 in Vancouver, Washington. This case was referred to the United States Marshals Service from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) on August 27, 2007. Taylor had been missing from Newport, Arkansas since August 5, 2007. Also located was the girl’s mother, Evelyn Taylor, who was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Custodial Interference.
  • August 16, 2007 - Portland, Oregon - Following a two-year tradition of success, the U.S. Marshals Service conducted another highly successful Operation FALCON (Federal and Local Cops Organized Nationally) from August 6 –10 in the Portland Metropolitan Area.  Operation FALCON is an ongoing, multi-city, nationwide law enforcement effort. Since its onset in July, Operation FALCON 2007 has netted 2,293 arrests and cleared 2,653 warrants in 14 locations across the country.
  • August 16, 2007 - San Diego, CA - On April 13, members of the Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force assisted San Diego Police department in locating Cody Jonas and Lacy Rich in San Diego CA.  Jonas and Rich are alleged suspects in the armed robbery of the Kla-Mo-Ya Casino near Chiloquin Oregon. According to Casino employees on August 10, 2007, Cody Jonas waived a gun as he fled the casino with an undisclosed amount of cash.
  • July 06, 2007Vancouver, WA - The U.S. Marshal Oregon Fugitive Task Force arrested Charles Douglas Land, age 51, and safely rescued kidnap victim, Cynthia Ivie.  Cynthia Ivie's photograph and story gained national attention when she was posted as "Endangered Missing" on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children web site, (www.ncmec.org).
  • April 13, 2007 - During the evening of April 10th, 2007, the U.S. Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Peter Gebhart, age 38, with assistance from Oregon DEA and the Oregon U.S. Marshals HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) Fugitive Task Force.
  • January 8, 2007Marques Hardges, a wanted fugitive and dangerous member of the Lokout Piru Bloods gang, was arrested in St. Petersburg, Florida by Deputy U.S. Marshals.  Hardges, 31, was wanted in Multnomah County for several outstanding warrants involving narcotics activity and parole violations.  Hardges was considered a serious threat to the public based on his gang association and previous arrests involving weapons and narcotics.
  • November 17, 2006 - Today at about 3:00 PM PST, Deputy U.S. Marshals arrested Michelle Dawn Finley, age 46 and safely recovered 7 year old Heidi Rus in Las Vegas, Nevada.
