Zirlott Park Emergency Temporary Housing Site in Bayou La Batre, Mobile County, Alabama (September 2005)
FEMA proposed to fund an emergency temporary housing project to provide group housing for people displaced by Hurricane Katrina in the Bayou La Batre vicinity of Mobile County, Alabama, under its Individual Assistance Program. To comply with the National Environmental Policy Act and its implementing regulations, an Environmental Assessment and FONSI were prepared to evaluate the potential environmental impacts of the proposed temp housing project.
