Office of Planning, Policy, and Analysis (OPPA)

The Office of Planning, Policy, and Analysis is responsible for multiple activities in information technology (IT) management at NOAA. Areas of responsibility include:

The OPPA model of operations relies on central planning and oversight, and decentralized or federated implementation policies and guidance across NOAA Line Offices. The OPPA staff enjoy working closely with IT colleagues throughout Commerce and NOAA in order to support and promote the continued success of the NOAA mission.
