Key Largo Wastewater Improvement Project
Congress enacted Public Law 106-31, Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for FY 1999 in response to Hurricane Georges to fund long-term disaster recovery projects in Florida counties whose needs were unmet through primary disaster relief funds. FEMA received a grant application from the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority for funding to build a new wastewater treatment plant for Key Largo Trailer Village and Key Largo Park. This draft Supplemental Environmental Assessment addresses the likely effects of implementing three alternatives proposed in Key Largo.
