1. Hire a Researcher to Make Copies For You

2. Visit the Nixon Library to Make Copies
   
   
   • Researchers may need to bring reproduction supplies and equipment to copy some materials.

1. Determine the File ID number and Title, and select the reproduction format (cassette or CD etc.).
   
   
2. Select the appropriate Order Form Packet and follow the instructions.
   
   
   • All duplication services are provided by National Archives-approved vendors  –  a list of these vendors is included in the Order Form Packets.

Order Form Instructions Summary

The following is a summary of the process for obtaining motion film, sound recording, or videotape reproductions. (This summary does not apply to Still Photograph reproductions.)

1. Download and complete the appropriate order form.
2. Send the completed order form to the Nixon Library in College Park, Maryland, for verification.
3. The Nixon staff will return the reviewed request to you.
4. Contact a vendor to check for availability.
5. Send the approved reviewed request to the vendor(s).
6. The vendor will process the request and send the reproductions to you.
