Abstract:

This report discusses palliative care in resource-constrained settings for persons living with HIV/AIDS. It provides recommendations for implementing programs in countries highly affected by the disease. It includes individual perspectives from health professionals who participated in a satellite session on palliative care sponsored by the World Health Organization and describes challenges of incorporating new health care services. The report includes tables and charts.
