Podcasting

The U.S. Institute of Peace is pleased to offer podcasting as a way to subscribe to USIP's audio programs and keep up to date on the latest events.

Podcasting is a term used to describe a syndication technology that allows users to automatically download the latest audio releases from a Web site. Devices that read Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds such as iTunes are able to automatically update a user's collection of audio files without the user actually having to go to the Web site to download them.

Audio from USIP events are now available for podcast subscription for free through the iTunes music store. By clicking on "Podcasts" in the music store and searching for "Institute of Peace" you will be able to listen and download available audio files from USIP. When you subscribe to USIP's podcast by clicking the "subscribe" button, iTunes will automatically update your podcast list with the latest feed from USIP's Web site. [Subscribe directly to USIP's iTunes podcast here.]

You may also subscribe to USIP's podcast feeds without using iTunes. Copy the address below and paste it into another podcast application to subscribe to our audio feed.
