60F. CLOUD TOP TEMPS HAVE GENERALLY BEEN RUNNING BETWEEN -55 TO -61C
AS THE CELLS MOVE IN A SW TO NE PATTERN WITH THE LINE SLOWLY SHIFTING
EWD. THIS HAS BEEN AND WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE MOD/HVY RAINS FROM N MS
TO N CENTRAL KY/SE IN. HAVE NOTICED THAT LIGHTNING DECREASES TO THE NE AS
CELLS ENCOUNTER COOLER/DRIER/MORE STABLE AIR AND BECOME LESS CONVECTIVE
SO MOST INTENSE RAINS SHOULD REMAIN IN THE S/CENTRAL PARTS OF THE LINE OF
STORMS. MANUEL ESTIMATES GIVE RAINFALL RATES OF 1-1.5"/HR..PARTICULARLY
IN N MS/W TN WHERE MULTIPLE OVERSHOOTING TOPS CAN BE SEEN ON VIS IMAGERY
AND CLOUD TOPS HAVE COOLED IN LAST TWO IR IMAGES. HYDROESTIMATOR SHOWS
A 1-2" AREA OF ESTIMATED RAINFALL ACROSS W TN OVER THE PAST 6 HRS WITH
EMBEDDED MAXES OF 2.2" OVER MADISON/HENDERSON/CARROLL COUNTIES ENDING
1645Z. ADDITIONAL HVY RAINS HAVE OCCURRED OVER THESE COUNTIES SINCE 1645Z
