MOISTURE HAS BEEN FLOWING NWD ACROSS MUCH OF HAWAII WITHIN THE SAME MOISTURE AXIS FOR MANY HRS NOW DUE TO THE SLOWED EWD MOVEMENT OF THE ENTIRE SYSTEM BY THIS S/WV. CLOUD TOPS ARE STILL FAIRLY WARM OVER THE ISLANDS WITH MOST BELOW -50C..THE EXCEPTION BEING THOSE JUST S OF THE ISLAND OF LANAI AND THOSE THAT RECENTLY FORMED OVER KAUAI REACHING -55C. PW VALUES FROM RECENT SSMI PASS WERE STILL BETWEEN 1.75-2.0" WITH AREAL AVG RAIN RATES TO THE N AND S OF THE ISLANDS BETWEEN .5-1"/HR. VIS IMAGERY SHOWS THE NEW CNVTN THAT HAD RAPIDLY GROWN OVER E KAUAI IN THE LAST HR HAS SEEMINGLY REACHED ITS MAX POTENTIAL AS FAR AS CLOUD TOP TEMP BUT DOES NOT SHOW MUCH MOVEMENT OFF OF THE ERN SIDE OF THE ISLAND. ELSEWHERE NEW CNVTN CONTINUES TO FIRE S OF LANAI/MOLOKAI/AND WRN MAUI WHICH THEN MOVES NWD IN THE FLOW OVER THE MENTIONED ISLANDS. HYDROESTIMATOR OVER HAWAII SHOWS AMOUNTS OF JUST OVER .5" FOR 1 HR ENDING 2045Z S OF LANAI THAT WILL BE MOVING NWD. COMBINED WITH ORAGRAPHICS EFFECTS OF THE SPECIFIC ISLANDS..EXPECT LOCAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS TO BE MUCH HIGHER..PROBABLY MORE ON THE ORDER OF 1-2"/HR. 21Z VIS ALSO SHOWS A BNDRY N OF MAUI BOWING EWD WITH THE TAIL END EXTENDING SWWD ACROSS MAUI AND BETWEEN THE ISLANDS OF LANAI AND KAHOOLAWE WHERE CELLS ARE ALREADY SEEN FORMING MENTIONED ABOVE.
