BELIEVE THIS SLOW OVERALL MOTION WILL CONTINUE FOR THE SHORT TERM BEFORE VORTICITY LOBE NOW OVER E TX/W LA EVENTUALLY HELPS TO ACCELERATE CONVECTIVE LINE LATER THIS MORNING AND INTO THE AFTERNOON. . UL FORCING APPEARS TO BE DRIVEN IN LARGE PART BY HIGHLY DIFFLUENT FLOW AS EVIDENCED BY CLASSIC WEDGE SHAPED FEATURE TO CONVECTIVE LINE OVER THE GULF. IN ADDITION, GOES HIGH DENSITY WINDS WERE INDICATING A 100KT SPEED MAX LIFTING UP LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY TO PROVIDE RIGHT ENTRANCE REGION DYNAMICS OVER THE AFFECTED AREA. . MORNING RAOBS AND LATEST NOAA AMSU PASS (1037Z) WERE SHOWING THAT DEEPEST MOISTURE WAS ROUGHLY COINCIDENT WITH CONVECTIVE WEDGE. MAXIMUM VALUES WERE GENERALLY AROUND 1.70-1.80" AND THESE VALUES ARE ROUGHLY 200% OF THE CLIMATOLOGICAL NORMAL VALUES. CONSIDERING THIS AND THE FAVORABLE WARM RAIN PROFILES OUT OF TLH, WOULD EXPECT THAT RAINFALL RATES OF 1-2"/HR SHOULD BE COMMON IN THE MOST INTENSE CONVECTIVE CORES. . QUICK PEAK AT 1245Z VISIBLE IMAGE SHOWS THAT NUMEROUS OVERSHOOTING TOPS WERE ALIGNED ALONG AN AXIS FROM E WALTON COUNTY EXTENDING NE THROUGH HOLMES COUNTY AND INTO E GENEVA COUNTY. BELIEVE 1-2"/HR RAINFALL RATES SHOULD BE COMMON IN THIS AREA OVER AT LEAST THE NEXT 30-60 MINUTES. WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR. .
