Mapping Information Platform (MIP)

The Mapping Information Platform (MIP) Tools and Links is an online portal for the Flood Map Modernization program. The site provides numerous sets of hazards data and a suite of tools for use by FEMA's approved map-generating partners. The MIP is also being used to help deliver and standardize digital maps and other geospatial products as part of the national Spatial Data Infrastructure.

Map Service Center

The Map Service Center is customer-based to allow visitors to view and order flood maps and related studies directly and download them if they are in digital form. The products include: Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRM), Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs), Flood Insurance Study reports (FIS reports), Digital Q3 flood data, Community Status Book, Flood Map Status Information Service (FMSIS), Letters of Map Change (LOMCs), and NFIP Insurance Manuals.

U.S. Fire Administration

The U.S. Fire Administration Publications site provides fire information resources ranging from fire communications to fire prevention, planning and code enforcement materials in many formats, including books, videotapes and kits, free of charge. Customers can use the online catalog to order from over 400 publications and other information products.
