E344 - Mitigation for Tribal Officials
Course Description:
This course provides Tribal members and their representatives with
an overview of FEMA’s mitigation programs, to outline tribal mitigation
responsibilities, and to discuss opportunities for achieving mitigation
successes. The course will cover mitigation planning, the National Flood
Insurance Program (NFIP), and mitigation grant programs.
Selection Criteria:
The course will be limited to federally recognized tribal members
and their representatives.

Required:
None.
Recommended:
Participants should be familiar with emergency management principles
and operations and/or mitigation publications and brochures.
