Abstract:

This newsletter describes work groups formed by many states to provide stakeholder input into development of a rural health plan and implementation of the State Flex Program. It presents continuum of work group responsibilities and activities, including Planning Group, Advisory/Steering Committee, and Coalition Models. It explains benefits of work group participation in the Flex Program; gives considerations in choosing organizations to include; and expectations for development of work groups.
