Outreach: Office visits and group presentations
The Research Library staff are available to visit LANL staff in their
offices to answer questions and provide
help in finding information and using library products and services.
We will attend Lab group or team meetings to update a group on the
wealth of electronic resources available from the desktop.
Sessions can be general overviews or in-depth training sessions tailored
to particular products such as a specific database, patents, or
grants and funding databases on the Web. (see list below)
Please schedule a session by contacting the Library by phone (7-5809)
or e-mail.
Library tours
Tours of the Research Library, with an
overview of library collections and services, are conducted on a drop-in basis
every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. or by appointment. Tours last approximately 30 minutes.
