District News: October 29, 2008 - The U.S. Marshal led Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team (DFAT) Task Force announces the arrest today of Carol HartT for escape. Hart escaped from the now defunct Detroit House of Corrections (DeHoCo) in September of 1970. Hart, then 23 years old, was serving a 25 – 35 year sentence for assault with intent to rob while armed after she and her boyfriend fatally shot a World War II veteran after a botched robbery attempt.
